BIMA: I - The Baggage Handler

With only about 3 hours of sleep I desperately wanted to not have any problems checking in at the airport. However, that was not to be.

After getting done with packing and cleaning up at home just in time to reach the airport about an hour before the flight, I had to face an overtly strict NWA official.

The fault actually was mine. I didn’t weigh in my bags before leaving for the airport. It turnd out that I was 25 pounds over! Yeah, it shocked me too!

To my good fortune, I had asked Chetan to wait for me while I checked in my luggage. So the result was that I had a few fewer sets of jeans and a much heavier cabin bag!

After all the hassle, the one thing that turned out great was my seat. I couldn’t be any happier about finding the SeatGuru website.

Plenty of leg room, Nitin Sawhney on my mp3 player and some beautiful essays by Atanu Dey is making this two hour long first leg seem trivial!

Damn, Prashant, I am simultaneously embarrassed and delighted that you mentioned my writings. OK, I will buy you beer.
