Happy New Year

Happy New Year

This is my first post of 2005 and I hope those who have been reading this space have all made their contributions to the Tsunami relief efforts. If you haven’t yet, it isn’t too late. Just follow the links on the post previous to this one.

Weblogs are different from online magazines and news outlets in that they reflect some angles of the person authoring the blog. Sometimes there are periods of tremendous activity and at other times things are slower. This certainly has been one of those phases.

Though few, I’ve had periods before where I haven’t felt like blogging, but this one is different. I’ve got tons of things to write about, been reading lots of stuff around the blogosphere but haven’t had any time to commit myself to write about them. So I’ve decided to try some new things. These will probably help me keep my blogging alive and kicking.

In the near future, you will see a lot more blogging about my photolog. The weblog and photolog are as of today still segregated and run on separate installations of WordPress. I am going to try and make a conscious effort to merge them. Donncha’s weblog is an inspiration!

We’ll see how that plan goes. For now, look out for some new photos from my New Year’s trip to New York.
