Walking in Hong Kong

For some reason, I did not expect the kind of glitz and glamor that pervades through Canton Road in the heart of Hong Kong harbor. Its quite a shopper’s paradise although most people strolling inside the malls were probably just trying to beat the heat.

I did find the prices of electronics on the higher end of the scale compared to the US. There wasn’t much of bargain hunting going around inside the big malls. However, a quick turn around the small bylanes revealed an entirely different story. I finally got to see the world famous 2 US$ DVDs and 10 US$ discs of an operating system we all use.

I’ve got a full film roll of 36 snapshots of my walk through the day taken with my N80 and promise to Flickrize it on the first opportunity I get.
