Selva reminds of a favorite parody of Jonathan Swift’s poem,
So, naturalists observe, a flea
Has smaller fleas that on him prey;
And these have smaller still to bite ‘em;
And so proceed ad infinitum.
Transport Phenomena baby…!

The Lewis Richardson one Has been the slogan for my blog since its inception
The flea one has been said differently too …
Great fleas have little fleas upon their backs to bite ‘em
And the little fleas have lesser fleas and so ad infinitum
But the great fleas themselves in turn have greater fleas to go on
And these in turn have greater still and greater still and so on …
I have no Blog
just to add-
Flea eats Flea, (does it matter big or small?).
For animals the infinitum chain is the need for survival, so ditto For humans. The difference only being the varied reasons WHY ‘Flea eats flea’ …..
Manoshee,
Surprise, surprise… welcome.
That sounds like a thinker!
