Sometime back, Niket and I had a short discussion on how life at UDCT (our Alma Mater) would be different if weblogs were around at the time. We both were skeptical although I was more optimistic than he was.
The New York Times has an article talking about such ideas applied to second grade school classes!
In some cases, teachers may not have much of a choice. The Little Miami School District near Cincinnati plans to require teachers to maintain blogs for their classes once they are trained on the technology, which should be completed sometime in the 2005-6 school year.
This adds a whole new dimension to the discussion.
